Lapsed Member Mappera tiered win-back map for studio owners
Menu

Every non-customer, in one lane

Paste the lapsed and cancelled member list you already export, with the cancellation dates and the stated reasons, and get every member sorted into three tiers plus the still-paying silent lapse, then a dated win-back sequence with a different offer per tier.

First cut, before any offer: 1 member still on a live payment while they have stopped coming. That one is a billing fix and an apology, not a win-back.

Answers

The studio win-back questions, answered plainly.

Short, direct answers to the questions a gym, pilates or yoga studio owner asks when they sit down with a lapsed member list: which members to contact first, how a refuser differs from an occasional user, how to tell a freeze from a cancellation, whether consent is needed, and why a member still paying and not coming is a billing fix.

Every page below answers one question in the buyer's own words, states its assumptions and links back to the tool. The legal treatment stays with the owner, and the obligations behind the consent gate are held and cited on the rules page.

How do I work out which lapsed members to contact first?

Start with the members still on a live payment who have stopped coming: that is a billing fix, not a win-back. Then the refusers who told you why, then the occasional users who drifted, then the unexplored who barely started. The tier decides the offer, and the ranking shows where your time pays first.

What is the difference between a refuser and an occasional user?

A refuser is a non-customer who told the studio why they left, so the offer leads with what has changed and a free return class, not a discount. An occasional user drifted after low or sporadic use with no clear refusal, so the offer is flexibility, a class pack or a free week.

How do I tell a freeze from a cancellation on my member list?

A freeze or a pause keeps the relationship, so a paused member is not a non-customer and must not be counted as one. The tool reads the status column, labels a frozen or paused membership as paused, and holds it out of the three tiers.

Can I email lapsed members without consent?

A win-back email is a commercial electronic message, so it needs consent, a clear sender identity and a working unsubscribe in both jurisdictions. The tool treats an unclear or absent consent as no consent: the row is withheld from every draft and listed with the reason.

Why is a member who is still paying and not coming a billing fix?

A member still on a live payment who has stopped coming is the studio being paid for nothing: the issue is the direct debit, not the relationship. Fix the billing and apologise first. A "we miss you" email to someone still being debited reads as a billing error.

Where to go next

Paste your own list into the tool on the home page. What the paid plans add, and what stays free, is on the pricing page. Who builds the tool and how the rules table is dated is on the about page, and the obligations behind the consent gate are on the rules page.
